Chinese New Year can be such a bore.
Nope, its not because i would have to entertain my relatives asking the same old questions & act like I'm oh-so-interested in what they are talking about but because i have nothing to do besides being stucked at home with the four walls & a com/teevee.
I'd rather have the chance to talk to my relatives & hear a little of their nagging which only occurs once a year than bore myself to death by staying at home. The worse part of it all is that i have no one to go out with because everyone is being stucked at home or at visitations. Miserable.
Okay, enough of the negativity. On a lighter & happier note, after reaching home at 330 from Chinatown & awaking at 6 to help my mum, we visited my dad's aunt in the evening & another of my mum's aunt (not blood related though) thereafter. That marks the end of my New year visitation to my relatives. So i'm free. Is that a good or bad news?
So i'm heading out probably to catch The Wedding Game or some show with someone who's free later (:
The best part of chinese new year is that i get to buy new clothes, period.
